Content systems built so the people who publish every day never have to raise a ticket to change a headline.
Choosing between WordPress, headless and custom
WordPress still earns its place when a small team needs to publish often, plugins cover most of the requirement and the budget is modest. We build it properly: custom post types, a block or ACF-driven editing experience, no page builder bloat, and a theme that does not ship a megabyte of unused CSS.
A headless CMS such as Strapi, Sanity or Payload makes sense when the same content feeds a website, an app and perhaps a partner feed, or when the front end needs to be a modern framework for performance reasons. The trade-off is that preview and layout control need deliberate design work.
A fully custom content model is worth it only when your content genuinely does not fit an off-the-shelf structure, for example a regulated product catalogue with versioned approvals. We will tell you when that is not you.
Content modelling is the part that decides everything
Before any field is created we map the content itself: what a service page is made of, which fields repeat, what belongs to a taxonomy and what should be a reusable block. A good model means a new landing page takes an editor twenty minutes; a bad one means a developer ticket every time.
We keep the editing interface constrained on purpose. Fields are labelled in plain language, help text explains character limits, and layout options are limited to the patterns your design system supports, so the site cannot drift out of brand.
SEO fields are part of the model rather than an afterthought: title, description, canonical override, social image, schema type and a no-index toggle for thin or duplicate pages.
Migration without losing the traffic you already have
Migrating a live site is mostly a URL problem. We export the existing structure, map every old URL to its new destination, and implement 301 redirects before launch rather than after the rankings drop. Pages already earning traffic keep their headings, internal links and canonical structure.
Content is migrated by script wherever the source is structured, with a manual pass on the highest-value pages. Images are re-encoded to modern formats during the move, which usually takes a noticeable weight off the site on its first day.
After go-live we watch Search Console coverage and Core Web Vitals for several weeks and fix what surfaces, because that is when redirect gaps and duplicate parameters actually appear.
Editor training, roles and multilingual publishing
We hand over a recorded walkthrough plus a short written guide for the tasks your team performs weekly. Roles are configured so an editor cannot accidentally change theme files and an author cannot publish without review.
For bilingual publishing in Bengali, Hindi and English we set up proper language routing with hreflang annotations, translated slugs and a fallback rule, so search engines serve the right version instead of treating translations as duplicates.
Backups, staging and a documented update routine are part of the handover, since an unpatched CMS is the most common way a small business site gets defaced. We also agree who owns those updates going forward, because a routine with no named owner is a routine that stops after the second month.

FAQ
CMS Development: questions we are asked
Use WordPress when one team publishes to one website, plugins cover most needs and budget matters. Choose headless when the same content has to feed a site plus an app or partner feed, or when front-end performance is a business requirement. We recommend based on your publishing volume and team, not on fashion.
Yes, if the migration is planned around URLs. We map every existing URL to its new destination, implement 301 redirects at launch, preserve headings, internal links and canonical tags, and monitor Search Console for several weeks afterwards. Ranking losses after a migration almost always trace back to redirects that were skipped.
That is the point of the build. Editors get a constrained interface with labelled fields, reusable blocks and clear help text, so adding a page or changing a hero is a routine task. We provide a recorded walkthrough and a written guide covering the jobs your team does every week.
Yes. We set up language routing, translated slugs and hreflang annotations so each language version is indexed on its own terms rather than treated as duplicate content. We also check that the chosen typefaces render Indic conjuncts correctly at the sizes used across the site.
Least-privilege user roles, enforced strong authentication, a documented patching routine for core and plugins, automated off-site backups with tested restores, and security headers at the edge. We also remove unused plugins and themes, since abandoned code is one of the most common entry points on small business sites.
