Most marketing sites we ship are built on Nuxt or Next with server rendering or static generation, because search engines and slow phones both prefer HTML that arrives ready to read. Content-led sites usually sit on a headless CMS; transactional sites use a relational database with Postgres or MySQL underneath.

For applications we work in TypeScript end to end, with typed API contracts so the front end cannot quietly drift from the back end. Where a client already runs on WordPress, Laravel or Node, we work inside that stack rather than insisting on a rewrite that nobody budgeted for.

Rendering strategy is a decision we make per route. Marketing and category pages are pre-rendered or cached at the edge; dashboards render on the client. That single choice does more for Largest Contentful Paint than any amount of later tuning.

We ship semantic HTML with a single H1 per page, meaningful heading order, canonical tags, an XML sitemap, correct robots directives and JSON-LD for Organization, LocalBusiness, BreadcrumbList and Product or Article where they apply.

JavaScript budgets are enforced during the build rather than discovered in production. Images are served responsively in modern formats, fonts are self-hosted and subsetted, and third-party scripts are loaded deliberately because they are the usual cause of a failing Interaction to Next Paint score.

Everything lives in Git with reviewed pull requests, and every branch gets a preview deployment so stakeholders comment on a working URL instead of a screenshot. Continuous integration runs linting, type checks and tests before anything reaches production.

We write server-side validation for every input, use parameterised queries, keep secrets in environment variables and set sensible security headers including a content security policy. Broken access control and security misconfiguration sit at the top of the OWASP Top 10 for 2025, and both are development-time problems, not firewall problems.

Dependencies are pinned and monitored, because software supply chain failures are now a named OWASP category in their own right.
